EthicsGrade is a British Data Awards 2023 Finalist
1 April, 2023

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been named a Finalist in the British Data Awards 2023.
The British Data Awards is an annual quest to discover and celebrate data success stories. Amoungst this years finalists are FTSE 100 heavyweights, public sector pioneers, technology unicorns, fast-growing scale-ups, essential Not-For-Profits, and everything in between.
A record 226 entries were received this year meaning the competition to be named a Finalist was particularly tough, so we are especially pleased to be announced as a Finalist.
Jason Johnson, Co-Founder of Predatech and British Data Awards judge said: “Judging the British Data Awards this year wasn’t easy given the high standard of entries. All our Finalists should be incredibly proud of their data success stories and for helping to showcase the best that the world of data has to offer. I look forward to celebrating your achievements in May.”
EthicsGrade was founded three years ago, and since then we have worked tirelessly towards our vision: a world where everyone is empowered to invest in the world through their own ethical values and our mission is to answer any ESG question on any company for any investor. In the last three years, we have had the privilege of working with many stakeholders, heads of CDR and ESG professionals who are passionate about corporate digital responsibility.
We have helped ESG professionals who share the desire to move forward with their organization's strategy on ESG. Assisted CDR leaders who want to understand their relative performance against peers in areas critical to their digital strategy. Supported Investors who value an ESG rating which is aligned with their values so that they can understand their portfolio risks from their unique lens. Finally, researchers who purpose our data freely to support their research into the risk of emerging technologies and the digital ethics of corporate.
What does being a finalist mean to us? We work tirelessly to make our mission a reality and those who have worked in start-ups understand how dynamic the journey can be. The benefits of being in a tight-knit team are seen in doing and being everything, we take on obstacles together and face times of instability that simply do not exist for big corporations. We are proud of the work we do daily but being spotlighted by an external body validates what we do often behind the scenes, reminding us that our work is appreciated by the greater ecosystem.
Thank you for this recognition and confidence boost in our journey. We look forward to when The British Data Awards 2023 announces winners across 22 categories, at an awards ceremony taking place in London on the 11th of May. Thank you for recognizing our team as Start-up of the Year.
